IBM Elastic Storage Server (ESS)
Note:
- MLNX_OFED driver and adapter firmware are updated as part of ESS upgrade.
- It is highly recommended that customer stays with the NVIDIA driver and adapter firmware version that is packaged with the ESS release.
- It is recommended that ESS server and clients are at the same MLNX_OFED driver version.
- Ethernet or Infiniband Switch updates are not part of ESS release. Customer should update their switch by following the recommended switch firmware level listed in the ESS deployment guide.
